The Tragedy
| On May 23rd, 2007 our son, Kolton, was tragically killed in an accident involving a garage door. This was an entirely avoidable accident caused by the negligence of some construction workers at our house. The matter is presently in litigation and our lawyers have instructed us not to make any comments concerning the circumstances of the accident. Charges were laid against the construction company by the Ministry of Labour and a civil lawsuit is pending. It is frustrating for us that we cannot say more, at this time, but we must abide by the rules of the legal system. Once the outstanding legal matters are resolved, we hope to be at liberty to tell the entire story of Kolton’s tragic and needless death. |
